Hong Kong's impending national security law will have no long-term negative impact: HKEX CEO Charles Li 李小加
CNBC International TV: Charles Li, the CEO of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Group, speaks to Street Signs Asia as HKEX turns 20. He says that Covid-19 has not dented the IPO pipeline, and predicts that the "timing is just right" for 2020 to be another big year. Discussing the tensions over China's proposed national security law, he says U.S. sanctions are inevitable, but predicts that the law will have no long-term negative impact on Hong Kong.
