今年3月26日，中國同宏都拉斯簽署建交公報正式建交。
應外交部邀請，宏都拉斯主流媒體記者團成為兩國建交后訪華的首個代表團。 在上海，代表團一行29人先後參訪了上海城市規劃展示館、華為上海研究所、上海文廣集團、中共一大紀念館、一師附小、新福康里等地。 一路上，記者們紛紛掏出相機和手機，將所見所聞記錄下來，傳遞給宏都拉斯民眾。 他們還表示：上海給我們展示的景觀令人歎為觀止，我們感到非常震撼，如同奇跡。
On March 26 this year, China and Honduras signed a communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations to formally establish diplomatic relations.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Honduran mainstream media press corps became the first delegation to visit China after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. In Shanghai, the delegation of 29 people visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Huawei Shanghai Research Institute, Shanghai Media and Broadcasting Group, the First Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China, the First Division Affiliated Primary School, and Xinfukangli. Along the way, journalists pulled out their cameras and mobile phones to record what they saw and heard and relay it to the people of Honduras. They also said: "The landscape that Shanghai shows us is breathtaking, we are very shocked, like a miracle."
